Judy Garland once told a Life magazine reporter, “I like to go out there and give ‘em two hours of just pow!” Judy’s 'pow' performances have been legion and legendary: the Palace, Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, the Cocoanut Grove (on DRG). Wherever she’s played, Judy made the place her own. On November 8, 1964, before an SRO house at London’s Palladium Theatre, Judy together with her daughter Liza Minnelli, didn’t disappoint her fans. Fortunately, Capitol Records was there to record the historic event and an album containing two long playing records was released in 1965 and it skyrocketed up to #15 on the Billboard charts. Aside from an abridged 1973 single Lp edition, this rare, historic recording has never been released on compact disc anywhere in the world! The Heirs to the Garland estate have been very protective as to what label and how they wanted this album rereleased. Because of the label's production on The Garland Touch, DRG was awarded the honor of reissuing the complete live performance!

On the Town is the 1949 movie musical with music by Leonard Bernstein and Roger Edens. It is an adaptation of a Broadway stage musical produced in 1944, although many changes in script and score were made from the original stage version; for instance, some of Bernstein’s music was dropped in favour of new songs by Edens. The movie was an instant success, winning the Academy Award for Best Music, Scoring of a Musical Picture. Screenwriters Comden and Green won the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Written American Musical. This collection features the original songs performed by Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and cast, plus bonus tracks from the Broadway cast recording of Wonderful Town, all superbly re-mastered.

They meet an aspiring young singer and try to help her get an audition at MGM. It features Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly and Kathryn Grayson amongst other stars, and won an Academy Award for the best musical score. This digitally re-mastered soundtrack recording comes with six bonus tracks including 'I Got Rhythm' and 'Singin in the Rain' from Sinatra, Kelly and Grayson.

Marty Robbins was one of the most successful country and Western singers of his nearly four-decade career.
