Franco-Catalonian trumpet player Raynald Colom brings together some of Europe's most respected jazz instrumentalists on his album Rise. The 8 tracks on this disc combine jazz, hip-hop, and even chamber music and French chanson to create a mixture that is unique to Colom and his band.  Born in France and brought up in Spain, Colom has been at the forefront of the new European jazz and flamenco scenes for many years and has performed with legends of the flamenco genre including Duquende and Chicuelo.

This is the stunning new album from jazz maestro Roberto Fonesca.  Fonesca is recognised as a major influence in modern Cuban jazz and jazz in general.  The Cuban pianist's new album is at the crossroads of jazz, traditional music and electronica, exploring new sounds and dimensions, while paying tribute to Cuba's African roots.  Yo explores Fonesca's roots and the diversity of his musical universe, mixing piano with traditional Afro-Cuban drums, lutes and vocals, and electronic instruments.

Copper Blue is the classic debut album from Sugar. This deluxe edition includes all the non-album b-sides, a BBC Radio session, and a 1992 live concert. The DVD includes videos and TV appearances and comes with a 32-page booklet containing photos, memorabilia and interviews with the band.

This symphony was created from nearly 12 hours of music written for The Lord of the Rings films. The six movements reflect each of the six books of Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. The piece uses symphony orchestra, mixed chorus, boys' chorus, instrumental and vocal soloists singing in Tolkien languages.  The Lord of the Rings won an Oscar for 'Best Original Score' and 'Best Original Song' in 2001 and 2002 and a total of 17 Oscars for the Trilogy!

Hugo was nominated for ‘Best Original Score’, ‘Best Motion Picture’ and won the award for ‘Best Director’ at this year’s 69th Golden Globe Awards.
